WCC 2013

This 2013 World Chess Championship took place in Chennai, the capital city of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu between World Champion Viswanathan Anand and Magnus Carlsen from Norway. The match was scheduled from Nov. 07 thru Nov. 28, 2013 with a 12 game format. Time control for each game was 120 minutes for the first 40 moves, 60 minutes for the next 20 moves and then 15 minutes for the rest of the game, with an increment of 30 seconds per move starting after move 61 has been made. First player to score 6.5 points would win the match. Magnus Carlsen wins by 6.5 to 3.5 in ten games.
