Hi,
In your mail (letter #8, 2005) you
state that it is not possible to make a checkmate with a King
and two Knights.
Is that a fact? I've always believed
that in Chess everything is possible and a mate could be
achieved.
Thanks

Dear viewer,
Our answer is still the same: "A
combination of a King and two Knights alone cannot force
a checkmate"
Of course, the lonely King can go into a corner
and let himself be checkmated as shown in the diagram on
letter
#8. Below, there are two ways of practicing this situation:
On the first board, you play white
and move first. You may try to checkmate the computer but be
warned... this will never happen!
On the second board you'll play
black and the computer will try to checkmate you. Just keep your
King at the center of the Chessboard and again... this will
never happen.
White to
move
Black to
move
