Dear viewer,
The longest
ever non-draw game record goes to
Laurent Fressinet vs Alexandra
Kosteniuk (Villandry,
France
2007) which Kosteniuk won in 237 moves and
It lasted two hours. This
is possibly the longest rapid Chess game ever played.
Fressinet could have claimed a draw
under the fifty-move rule in the last 116 moves while a Rook and
Bishop versus Rook ending was in progress, but he didn't do it so since neither
player was keeping score for it was a rapid Chess game.
