Sub:    Accidentally knocking down a King

During a casual game, my opponent knocked down his King. He said it was an accident and put it back upright.

My question is if I had the right to declare myself a winer or ignore the incident and keep playing as if nothing happened.

Best regards.

Dear viewer,

If this was an accidental “knock down”, the game should have continued since there was no intention to resign from the other side.

Now, if a player knocks down his King with the intent to resign and a few seconds later he analyzes the position and finds that he had a winning chance and try to continue, then it is not possible to comeback to the board and must accept he lost the game.
