There is no limit. Any Chess piece is allowed to capture as many
pieces as it legally and possible can.

S Friedland (2163) played at the London MSO Banwell mem
tournament on 08/26/2001 holds the record for most captures made by one
single piece. Mark Lyell white Queen captured eleven black
pieces on this game.
