I have two questions I hope you can help me out:

1. Do you know the starting date for the 2011 Linares tournament?

2. What Chess player has won more Linares matches ever?

We do not know the Linares 2011 match date yet. If there is a match this year, we will follow up and update it daily in a pgn viewer.

The player which has won more Linares tournaments by far is Gary Kasparov. He has won Linares 9 times:

1990  |  1992  |  1993  |  1997  |  1999  |  2000  |  2001  |  2002  |  2005
