In
the year 1927,
the great non-studying
Chess genius Jose Capablanca lost his world Championship
title to the ever-studying Chess genius
Dr.
Alexander Alekhine. With a record breaking
25 draws,
Alekhine won 18.5 - 15.5.
It was the longest world
Championship match in the history of
Chess.
Although Capablanca was obviously
the
entitled challenger to the world Championship,
Alekhine refused to play against him again
and instead played Bogoljubov
and Euwe for the world title.
