New York 1924, Dutch Defense

This game, from the book Sixty Two Materpieces of Chess Strategy by Irving Chernev, shows the great Jose R. Capablanca playing against Sawielly G. Tartakover with a magic formula for conducting a Rook and Pawn ending: seize the seventh rank with your Rook, and advance your King to the sixth!  Capablanca's clear-cut, methodical play is so easy to understand that the whole ending is a marvellous piece of instruction, and a thing of beauty as well.
