Deep Blue played
a second Chess match against
Garry Kasparov in 1997, and
this time was designed specifically to beat Kasparov. In
game 2, Kasparov set a trap that most
computers fall for but Deep Blue didn't fall for it. Deep Blue went on to win the match in the
sixth game,
marking the first time in history that a computer defeated the World
Champion in a match of several games. |
